Herbert George Hardisty
Herbert George Hardisty, 92, died Tuesday (2-14-12) at Sanford Health and Rehab. Mr. Hardisty was born February 5, 1920.
A memorial service will be held 4PM Sunday February 26th 2012 at the First Presbyterian church of Sanford on Hawkins Avenue with Wendell McGee CLP officiating.
Mr. Hardisty was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years in 2002 Helen (Reidel) Hardisty and two brothers.
Mr. Hardisty is survived by a daughter, Camille Davidson and husband Tad of Sanford, NC; a son, Robert Hardisty and wife Karen of Clifton Park, NY; a granddaughter, Jennifer Dacanay and husband Ken of Philadelphia, PA.

Herb, you were a gentleman like none other. You taught me about life, always doing your best, and some insurance too along the way. How many retirement parties did we have for you? And after each party we would hope that you would be back again soon. You were a blessing to my life and a great friend to my parents. Thanks!
