James “Jimmy” Walter Smith, 73, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Miller-Boles Funeral Home in Sanford with burial to follow in Lee Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Miller-Boles Funeral.
He was born May 15, 1938 in High Point, NC to the late Leon Smith and Margaret Crickmore.
He is survived by his daughter Sharon Thomas and husband Herbert of Sanford; Sister, Judy Simon of Graham, NC and 1 grandson Bryan Rives. Special friends James and Mary Lee Plunk and Jimmy “Dog” Womble and 3 nieces. He is predeceased by his wife Josephine Smith and brother Oscar “Red” Smith.
